Overview
Boyd J. Michael, III Technical High School (Tech High) is a public high school program in Hagerstown, Maryland, offering specialized career and technology education alongside a comprehensive academic curriculum. Part of the Washington County Public Schools system, Tech High serves students in 10th*, 11th, and 12th grades, providing them with cutting-edge programs and real-world experiences.
In addition to the 17 technical programs, Tech High offers a wide variety of academic classes, including on-grade, Honors, and Advanced Placement courses, ensuring a rich educational experience. The school's technical classrooms boast state-of-the-art technology and equipment to prepare students for current industry and higher education standards
*NOTE: Students interested in Cosmetology must apply during their freshman year and attend Tech High for grades 10-12. This is the only three-year program, and students who do not apply as freshmen will not be eligible to enroll.
